SPAWN NEWS & UPDATES

Kinepolis once again has delayed the release date of the Spawn-movie, August 12 all hell will break loose in Belgium !!!
The 2nd Spawn-animated series on HBO was a complete success....as I heard from a couple of my US-friends it was way better than the first series. Visually as well as the story it has taken a big step forward, can't wait to see them !!!
The first animated series are now available on laserdisc from Pioneer
In the US & Canada the Spawn movie can be rented in either the theatrical PG-13 version or in a never seen before R-rated "director's cut" version that includes exciting new footage.
Available for sale is the director's cut version on both laser disc and DVD, the DVD version also includes the two music videos from the soundtrack as well as key sketches and storyboards from the production.
Spawn 73 introduced us to a new enemy...Eddie Beckett merged together with some of Spawn's necroplasm and became a horrific monster made partly out of rubbish: THE HEAP, wow mama, he's one ugly fuck. Bring on Spawn 74 baby !!!!
10/08: Just finished reading Spawn 74 and let me tell you, the Spawntale is becoming more and more interesting, The Heap is supposed to be a ennemy not belonging to hell or heaven but he's a creature of something between those two.....and Spawn is visiting that place right now !!!
12/08: It finally happened...Kinepolis released the Spawn-Movie !!!!! Wow baby... I can't wait to see it.......It's way to hot to be in a movie-theater but who the f**k cares, I'm seeing it tonight !!!!!, I'll keep y'all updated ....
13/08: Allright !!! Yesterday I saw it !!! together with about 20 other madmen who couldn't care less about the heat in the theatre.....Well, let me tell you, when you are a Spawn-fan, this is a must see....All the latest SFX are used in this action-packed helluva movie !! The morphing scenes and the scenes where Spawn learns to use his chains are my favorites....as for John Leguizamo who plays the Clown, well I've seen him in 'the Pest' and when this guy doens't get you to laugh...there is something wrong with you....Well, the only negative points are the hell-scenes....they are totally NOT good, Maleboliga is nicely made but the final fight between Cog, Spawn and the Violator sucks bigtime.......The storyline is a combination between the comic and the HBO series.......The Heat-16 module is in de hands of Wynn and a device is placed next to his hart, when it stops, several bombs with the deadly virus will detonate all over the world and armageddon will begin, but Spawn doesn't kill Jason Wynn but instead kills Da Violator, leaving everything open for a sequal............If you like a good SF-movie and you are into comics, heaven and hell stories you gotta see this one.....
