I have received numerous questions about PBEMs and specially "Tyr and Beyond". These requests have come from potential players and DMs even from other types of game systems. The main question is from players since they are not sure what the DM really expects from their posts. Well, rather than go into more hypothetical posts, I have gathered old posts from real players (the players from "Tyr and Beyond") for a very explicit presentation.

I have prepared files containing all the emails answering a certain turn, including emails that I as a DM have posted either explaining/answering something or posting actions/responses for an NPC. The way this should be read is to read Turn X, read the file "Emails in Answer to Turn X" and then read Turn X+1. This way, you as a DM see how I wrote the turn, what actually went on the turn and what got cut out and any and all additions. Players will really understand what goes into a post, be it a combat or non-combat post. It is more than likely that the last part of any turn is new since that is where I set up the stage for my excellent actors.

The turns chosen have a good mix of combat and non-combat turns since the answers and make up of each one is slightly different.

I would like to thank all of my great players who make this game possible just as much I do. I set up a mean stage but they do the best acting.
