Schmick
first earned his evil fortune by going into the future with
Dr. E. The Doctor’s Mega-Time Jumper blasted him and
Schmick into the year 2316, where Earth’s economy was
no longer based on gold (one of Jupiter’s moons turned
out to be made entirely out of the stuff). Instead, the principle
monetary exchange was in copper. On the second trip, Schmick
brought his life savings, all in pennies. The fortune he made
was enough to build this compound and fund the domination
of the world.
