Character Name: Jordanna (Jordan) Deveraux

She inherited the position of watcher from her father, who was killed 18 months before. Jordan is convinced her father was murdered by a member of the DiNerezza Clan, as he had spent most of his time studying their activities. However, Jordan lacks proof, and is uncertain how to determine exactly which member killed her father.

Jordan is a petite woman (5 ft. 3 inches) in her late 20's. She earned her MD in forensic medicine from Columbia, and had just accepted an offer in New York City as lead coroner of the 5th district when her father was slain. She now heads the forsensic lab for the LAPD, and is being mentioned as a candidate for LA County coroner. She has no real drive to destroy the clans, but only wishes to discover the identity of her father's killer.
