Series Announcement
    At the drivers meeting on Sunday the 21st Randy announced that we will be starting an On Road series. Starting with the first race in May on May 2nd we will be running a 4 race series. The series is starting in May due to the fact that we are not running on Sunday April 4th in observance of Easter. The series points races will be races on the first Sunday of each month concluding with the race on August 8th at which time the points will be totaled and trophies will be presented. The series will be a best 3 of 4 series meaning you can miss 1 race without worrying about your standings. March Races
    We ran 2 races again in March, both with decent but beatable turnouts. The threat of rain during March seemed to hold the numbers down. The racing surface was great. Jack and family constructed some additional boards allowing us to lengthen the track to 125' with an infield that was 56' across. The gas guys loved it and showed us what they can do when they can realy open them up. Several of them took some hard hits and wild tumbles and when they got too close together they definitely showed the true meaning of door handle to door handle racing. We are looking to run the same track size in future races so look for the gas guys to return. The placement of the track allowed for the use of the best part of the parkinglot, making for a smooth high bite oval with some great technical infield for the touring cars. We should be pretty much out of the rainy season by the next race, so we look forward to seeing everyone out there on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month. We are looking forward to the return of Dan Moynihan to add some spice to the races on the mic in addition to those great HT-1 touring cars for our spectators.
