Amy sat on the couch with Kevin lying on her lap.
"Hey Amy."
"What babe?" Amy said running her fingers through his hair.
"Take me."
"Huh?" Amy asked shocked that he had just blurted it out.
"Take me now. I know I haven't been touchy feely with you but I'm ready now." Kevin said pulling off his shirt and blue jeans. Amy took off her clothes and underwear. Kevin looked at her body. A light brown body with the most beautiful blue eyes. Kevin shook his head. 'No Kevin, Amy doesn't have blue eyes.' He reminded himself. When he looked back at her they were soft and brown. How he hated Carmen's blue eyes that haunted him.
"You ok?" Amy said touching his shoulder.
"Yeah, I'm ok." Amy pulled down his boxers. She made her way to his throbbing member.
"Wait!" Kev said stopping her.
"What? You used to like that."
"I know but I don't need that as badly as I need you right now." Kevin said making up that excuse so that he wouldn't have to live through memories from Carmen. He pushed Amy onto the couch then climbed on top.
"Hey Kevin…" Kevin shook his head hearing Carmen's voice. He tried to push it out of his mind. 'Oh no you're not going to ruin this for me.' Kevin thought proceeding with Amy.
"Kevin…Amy you might want to get up and dressed." Carmen said spitefully. Amy and Kevin got up and covered themselves up immediately. Kevin could see those evil blue eyes staring at him from the darkness. She lurked in the shadows while they got dressed in a hurry.
"Kevin why don't you tell her why you wouldn't let her suck your d*ck." Carmen said smirking.
"What is she talking about? And what are you doing here?" Amy asked confused and a little irritated that Carmen had come into the house uninvited.
"Tell her Kevin."
"Tell me what?" Amy asked turning to Kevin.
"It was a mistake. I never meant to. I didn't know. I thought it was you. I'm so sorry…" Kevin said putting his head in his hands.
"What happened?" Amy asked figuring out what had happened but wanting to hear it from Kevin. Tears began to roll down her cheeks. "Tell me Kevin. I need to know."
"She…that slut," Kevin said pointing at Carmen. "She blindfolded me. She made me think it was you. And…and she…she…" Kevin stopped because he couldn't finish it without gagging.
"I gave him a blow job and he rather enjoyed it." Carmen said laughing evilly.
"I'm sorry Amy. If I had known I would have never. You know I wouldn't have. Please forgive me. Please Amy." Kevin begged touching Amy's hand. Amy bit her lip before responding. She cherished his touch. Could she forgive him?
"Kevin I love you but…"
"Please don't say but." Kevin said looking into Amy's eyes.
"Kevin I love you but how could you?"
"She tricked me. I thought it was you. When I found out it wasn't you. I threw her out so fast and haven't been able to even look at her without almost vomiting."
"Ok…I believe you baby but only because I love you enough to work this out. I know we can get through this together. There is one more thing though that's keeping me here. Um Kevin I haven't been totally honest with you either. So I have something to tell you."
"What?" Kevin asked dreading the worst.
"The reason I'm willing to work on this is because I'm pregnant." Kevin's eyes grew big and his smile wide. He hugged Amy close and then kissed her.
"I'm so happy! Wait a sec I'm going to be a daddy?" Kevin said looking at Amy's belly.
"Yes. I was afraid to tell you. I thought you'd be upset."
"I could never be upset about a baby." He said kissing her again.
"Ugh…I'm sorry to interrupt this happy reunion but I have to tell you two something." Carmen said getting Amy and Kevin's attention again. She pointed a gun at them.
"What the hell are you doing?" Kevin blurted out staring at the gun.
"Geese, Amy if you had only gotten mad and told him you wouldn't have wanted to work it out. Then I wouldn't have to do what I'm about to do." Carmen said walking closer to Kevin. She kissed his lips. Kevin pushed her away and wiped his mouth.
"We could have been happy together Kevin. To bad it won't work now. Goodbye, Kevin." She said pointing the gun at him. The blast rang in Kevin's ear. It all went in slow motion.
"No!" Amy yelled out jumping in front of Kevin. The next thing Kevin knew Amy was lying across his lap holding the side of her stomach. Kevin lowered her to the floor.
"Amy, I'm so sorry…for everything. I never meant to hurt you." Kevin said beginning to cry with Amy in his arms. Blood soaked Amy and his shirt but he didn't care.
"Shh." Amy whispered wiping Kevin's tears away. "I know you would have never hurt me. I know it wasn't your fault and I forgive you. No regrets, ok?" Amy said closing her eyes.
"No wake up!" Kevin yelled. Amy opened her eyes lightly then coughed up blood. Kevin wiped the blood from her mouth with his sleeve.
"Kevin it hurts. I don't think I'm going to make it."
"Don't say that. Love lasts through all things remember."
"I love you Kevin."
"I love you too. Love will find a way…I promise." Amy went limp in his arms. Kevin held her and rocked back and forth crying.
"Aww…she gave her life for you. I guess she really did love you." Carmen said sarcastically.
"You B*tch!" Kevin screamed running at her. He tackled her and wrestled her for the gun. With all his might he punched her in the face and she collapsed unmoving an inch except for her steady breathing. A.J. came running into the room. He saw Amy lying in a pool of blood on the floor. Then he saw Kevin with a gun in his hand with blood all over his shirt.
"A.J. man I didn't do it. It was Carmen." Kevin exclaimed pointing at Carmen who was unconscience on the floor.
"I believe you. I was coming over here to warn you but the d*mn traffic was bad." A.J. ran to Amy and checked her pulse.
"She's dead."
"I know. She died in my arms." Kevin said looking at his arms that were covered in Amy's blood. At that moment his knees gave out and he fell to the floor.
"Don't worry Kev I'll deal with it." A.J. ran to the phone and called the police and notified them of what happened. (He didn't know all the details but he knew that Carmen was a phiscopath.) Minutes later the police and ambulance were there to survey the scene. Kevin watched as they placed Carmen in a straight jacket. She was mumbling to herself over and over that she loved Kevin and that she would kill if she couldn't have him. Then Kevin turned his attention to Amy. He watched as they covered her head with a white sheet. They put her body on a stretcher and her hand fell out of the sheet. He walked over to her. He slid the engagement ring off her finger. He kissed it then placed it on his chain necklace. 'I'll always keep a piece of you with me.' He thought as he watched them take the stretcher away. The police confronted Kevin asking him questions after questions.
"Listen I already told you what happened. Now leave me alone!" Kevin yelled.
"Ok that's enough." A.J. said practically pushing the police officer out of Kevin's face. "Come on man…you can stay at my house tonight." A.J. led Kevin out of the house and drove him to his house.
