Mindless zombie is what sprang to A.J.'s head when he looked at Kevin sulking to the couch.

"Are you going to be ok?" A.J. asked concerned that Kevin looked so bad.

"She was…pregnant." Kevin simply said in shock.

"What!" A.J. yelled out unexpectantly. "When did she tell you this?"

"Right before Carmen shot her. Actually Carmen tried to hit me but Amy jumped in the way. She shouldn't have…I lost both people that meant and would have meant a lot to me. My future wife and my baby. I didn't even know if it was a girl or boy, A.J." Kevin said beginning to cry.

"Kevin I have a confession to make to you."

"Well since tonight has been one confession after another…so why not share another?" Kevin said wiping his tears away. He wasn't used to crying in front of the guys so it felt kind of awkward to be crying in front of A.J. Kevin sat quietly and patiently for A.J.'s confession.

"You remember how I said I met Carmen through a weird circumstance but didn't tell you. Um…I don't know how to say this so I'm just going to blurt it out. I met Carmen right after she got out of the ward."

"The mental ward! A nut house! A.J. you tell me now, after it's to late!"

"I didn't know that this would happen! She convinced me it was something stupid that she had been admitted there and I believed her. I guess I wanted to…I'm really sorry Kevin. I promise you I didn't know she was like this. If I had known I would have ended it right away."

"A.J. it's to late now. No regrets ok? I'm going to bed." Kevin said. He was exhausted from all of the mess and news he had been through and heard that day.

"I'll be in here if you need me. Goodnight Kev." A.J. said from the living room. Kevin walked to the guestroom and flipped on the radio. Of all the irony in the world he had to hear Amy and his song at this moment. 'Great song Bryan Adams' Kevin thought as he listened to the lyrics to the song.

The lyrics seemed to be the perfect explanation for Amy and his love. 'I know what I have to do now' Kevin thought as the last lyrics finished. He snuck into A.J.'s room and found his gun. He went back to his room quietly so A.J. wouldn't know.

"Love lasts through all things." Kevin muttered while turning the gun to point at his stomach in the exact place Amy got shot at.

"Hey Kev the guys are coming over." A.J. said while entering Kevin's room.

"Stay back A.J." Kevin warned. A.J. noticed the gun immediately.

"What the f*ck do you think your doing?"

"Doing what should have happened to me and not Amy. I told her a long time ago if we ever got parted I would find a way back to her. I promised her."

"Amy wouldn't want this and you know it. Give me the gun." Kevin heard Amy's last words that she had told him. 'No regrets, ok. I love you Kev.' Kevin's hand shaking began to give A.J. the gun.

"No!" Kevin suddenly said bringing the gun back to his stomach. "I have to keep my promise and I can't live without Amy." Kevin pulled the trigger and then collapsed to the ground. A.J. ran to his side and knelt down.

"Kevin!" A.J. yelled trying to get his attention. He wasn't looking at A.J. but past him at something.

"Amy…" Kevin whispered up towards the ceiling.

"Can you see her?" A.J. asked.

"Yes…she's beautiful." Tears ran down A.J.'s cheeks as he imagined Amy in perfect bliss smiling at Kevin while he gave his life for her.

"Tell her I said hi and buddy take care of yourself." A.J. said hugging Kevin.

"I will A.J. don't worry. I'm happy now…I'm with Amy."

"Kevin." Amy said with an angelic voice.

"Yes."

"Come with me my love."

"Coming Amy." A.J. smiled as Kevin's eyes grew into a distant stare. He knew Amy had come for Kevin and that they were together forever now. It just goes to prove that love does last through all things.
