I walked in a rush down the street. I was so upset I ran away from home because of the fight me and my parents got into last night. And I'm only 16. I didn't notice the blond running towards me until he ran straight into me. I guess he didn't notice me either.
"Oh, damn!" I said as I fell to the ground. I was hoping he was the type to run into someone and just walk off, I mean after all we're talking the busy streets of New York here. No such luck.
"Oh, geez! I am so sorry. I guess I wasn't paying attention much," he said helping me up.
"No, no its okay. I wasn't either." I said avoiding his eyes.
"Okay, I know I don't know you, but is something wrong?" I guess he saw my tear stained face.
"I-I'm fine. I gotta go now. Bye!" I said rushing off.
"Wait whats your name?" he yelled to me.
"Daisy," I yelled back and lost sight of him. I walked to the park and sat by the basketball court on a bench. There were 4 guys playing a game of basketball and they seemed really into it. The ball suddenly rolled over to me after slipping out of one of their hands. A guy with lightly tan skin headed my way to get the ball.
"Sorry bout that." He said to me.
"Its okay, really." I said as he walked back on the court. I grabbed my Tigger backpack that was covered in White Out saying stuff about Backstreet Boys and N'Sync. I hadn't herd much of Backstreet Boys, but that was okay, I liked N'Sync better. I mean don't get me wrong, I love the Backstreet Boys, but I thought N'Sync was better looking and I liked their music better. I got my wallet out and looked at my money. Before I came here I went to the bank and got all of my savings out. $982. I was going to get a hotel for tonight, get a ticket to Florida tomorrow and go. Get a job, get a small apartment, and hopefully enroll in a good high school. All planned out. I hope. I put it back into my bag and slung it over my shoulder and left to find a hotel. I left after 5th period at school so no one would know I was gone. Yet. I walked into the big building of the Fairfield Inn, and walked to the front desk.
