"So my debt is paid!" AJ said happily.
"Yes you have paid your dues and you get a second chance on earth. BUT if there isn't someone who accepts you and loves you unconditionally then you'll have to come back." The angel spoke with concern.
"Don't worry. Someone has got to love me down on earth. I know they haven't forgotten me yet."
"AJ not teenybopper love or motherly love…not even friendship love. It has to be TRUE, unconditional love and she has to say she loves you. You have a month to find true love. Choose wisely…"
"Yes of course!" AJ said waiting for him to transport him back to life.
"One more thing AJ."
"What?" AJ asked as he started to get impatient.
"Only one person will be able to see you. So choose the person who you think loves you unconditionally. She will be the one who can fully bring you back to life by saying I love you. Choose wisely AJ…things could have changed."
"Amy." AJ said with full confidence. Then everything went totally white. AJ blinked once or twice before being able to see.
"I'm back!!!" AJ exclaimed looking around the Amy's apartment. "Amy! Amy I'm back…where are you?" AJ called out looking around the house. 'Hey everything's different.' AJ thought. 'But some things never change.' He thought to himself as he saw the figure he had bought her still on the mantel.
"She probably went out. I'll wait til she comes back." AJ sat down on the bed to wait. ~ Back at the restraurant ~
"Oh come on guys it hasn't been that long." Amy said laughing
"Sure it has. I mean the last time we saw you, you were in love with AJ. Remember in the room…" Nick let the sentence die down. An uncomfortable silence fell over everyone.
"Uhm…well I'm happy you all came down for Amy and I 's wedding. We're really happy together." Alex said grabbing Amy's hand and squeezing it.
"We're happy to be here." Howie said. Alex kissed Amy on the forehead and whispered I love you into her ear. Amy smiled cheesily and kissed him on the lips.
"Well as much as I'd love to see you two happy and smooching together the guys and I should be heading back to the hotel." Kevin said standing up.
"Kev's right." Brian said also standing up.
"Well we had a good time. Brenda you coming?" Nick said holding his hand out to Brenda.
"Of course baby." She took his hand and waved goodbye to Amy and Alex. The rest of the guys said goodbye and Amy and Alex stayed behind and paid for their part of the bill then they also left.
"I can't wait to get home. I'm really sleepy." Amy said in the car with Alex as they made their way to the apartment.
"Me too. You know what…I can't believe in a few days we'll be married." Alex pulled the car next to the curb and put the car into park. Alex looked up at the Amy's apartment building.
"We're home."
"So…" Amy said leaning towards Alex and kissing him on the lips passionately for a long time. They stayed in the car for awhile kissing and holding each other. As she pulled away she looked up into the window of her apartment.
"OMG!!!!" Amy yelled seeing AJ staring back at her through the glass window.
