Amy walked around the small apartment double checking everything. It was very small but it was really cheap. No one had lived in it for ten years supposedly and no one ever seemed to stay in it longer than a month. It didn't matter to Amy. She needed a place to live as soon as possible. If she didn't take it she'd have to move back home and that was not an option for her. She had left home after a heated argument with her parents on how they thought she shouldn't make her dream of becoming a dancer come true. Amy left hoping to prove to them that she could be what she wanted to be. This was her escape and she was taking a major risk but it was worth it to her.
"It's nice. I'll take it." Amy said to the representative who was showing her the apartment.
"This is great! If you just come down to my office we'll get everything worked out." The jolly, rosy, over chubby woman said leading Amy out of the apartment. Amy stopped before leaving. She turned around feeling a shiver run down her spine. It felt like someone was watching her. She looked around one last time but saw nothing. Amy shrugged it off and closed the door behind her.
