I'm your average wife, mom, daughter, sister...WOMAN. My happiness in life comes from my friends and family. Having worked in politics in the past, I've learned that life is better viewed with the rose coloured glasses off! However, I have been known to replace those darn glasses from time to time, much to my chagrin!
If you are interested, you will find more of my thoughts by visiting "The Other Side of Me", which can be accessed by clicking on the gold yin-yang icon in the Awesome Links section of this page. On that page you will view various ramblings that wandered through my cranium.
I enjoy live theatre, with the
Phantom of the Opera taking top honors in my mind. I love to read and listen to good music - and my friends and family are always willing to assist me in broadening my horizons in these areas, thanks guys!
Although we live in the northeastern high plains of Colorado, my soul is alive and well in the beautiful Colorado Rockies!
Mike and I celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary July, 2005 with an awesome 7-day cruise to Alaska. What an experience! To be sure, they had to pry me out of our cabin when we docked back in Seattle. For I have discovered, that my soul can also be alive and happy in Alaska. Truly, one of the best kept secrets of all time!
You may notice a somewhat "feline" theme here. That's because first of all, I am a cat person. Like a cat, I will tolerate dogs (human and animal). We recently became the proud "parents" of a Welsh Pembroke Corgi named Kirby who has captured our hearts, as well as most of the house. He and Malley got along great--from his point of view, Malley wasn't so sure. But they were best of buds until Malley's untimely death in 2005. Since baby-hood my nickname has been tiger.I still respond to this tag often, and have often been accused of becoming definately "tiger-like" when my cub (Chris) is in any way threatened. Ok, so I'm a protective mom...sue me
