The Sean Kimes Scout Spirit Award was an award established by our troop following the unexpected death of a troop member, Sean Kimes, at the age of 13. The causes of his death were unknown, and our troop felt that we should commemorate him in some manner. This was done by establishing this award.
The requirements for this award are to do the following for a period of one year:
Perform 10 hours of public service approved by the scoutmaster
Attend a minimum of six scouting activities outside of regular meetings
Regularly attend meetings in appropriate uniform
