Here are our Eagle Scouts:
Kevin Dahlen
For his project, Kevin collected hats and t-shirts for mentally handicapped
people and then organized a softball game between our troop and a group of
mentally handicapped people. (the troop lost)
Robert Dahlen
Rob's project was the building of an outdoor chapel behind Christ Church
United Methodist, which sponsors Troop 225.
Ryan Fanta
Ryan received his Eagle Scout in 1995. For his project he supervised the
laying of sod around one of the ponds at the Racine Zoo.
Charles Henning Jr.
Chuckie's eagle project was a food drive for dog food which was then donated to
an animal shelter.
Jerome Hipper Jr.
Jerry received his Eagle Scout in 1994. For his project he planned
and built a nature trail behind St. Paul's Church in Racine.
Samuel Johnson
Sam's project was a blood drive in which he distributed literature about
blood donation and arranged for blood donors at the Southeast Wisconsin
Blood Center.
Dale Kimball
For Dale's Eagle project he organized an opportunity for young children in
Sturtevant,
WI to get fingerprinted for safety so that they would be on file with the
Sturtevant police department.
Michael Kimball
Mike was the first scout in Troop 225 to receive his Eagle Scout Award. For
his project he collected paint to be used for the Appalachian Service project
done by the youth group from Christ Church United Methodist.
Scott Magee
Scott received his Eagle Scout in 1993 and has since gone to college at
UW-Madison. His project was a literacy drive which included having
scouts visit Cub Scout packs to talk about the resources that the library
offers and he held a celebrity story hour at the Racine Public Library.
In 1995 and 1996 he was/is working as the Assistant Waterfront Director
at Robert S. Lyle Scout Reservation.
Quinn Obermeyer
For his eagle project, Quinn cleaned up the swamp area behind St. Paul's
Catholic Church in Racine and cleaned out their garage so that it was usable
again.
Edwin Raymond IV
Ed's project was a clothing distribution for St. Vincent DePaul's. He
has earned seven palms and will be working on staff at Robert S. Lyle
Scout Reservation as the Program Commissioner. In the past he has served
on Lyle Staff as a CIT, Assistant Scoutcraft Director and Quartermaster.
He is now attending UW-Steven's Point majoring in forestry.
Mickey Redfearn
Mickey received his Eagle Scout in 1995 and continues to help with troop
activities even though he is now 18 years of age. He is now
attending UW-Madison.
Eric Robinson
Eric's project was a pollution cleanup of the highly polluted Washington
Park in Racine. He completed his Eagle in May, 1997.
Christopher Townsend
For his project, Chris organized a cold weather clothing drive,
collecting hats, scarves, mittens and winter coats for needy
children.
Daniel Townsend
Daniel completed his Eagle in May of 1997. His project was an litter
cleanup along the Root River in Racine.
Christopher Tuttle
For his eagle project, Chris organized a Bike-a-thon to raise money for St.
Jude.
Michael Van Ruden
Mike's eagle project consisted of distributing emergency telephone numbers
throughout Mt. Pleasant.
