feeling: HS - Episode Guide - Forever Hotohori

The Suzaku Seishi, together with the Konan army, went to fight against the invading Kutou army. As the emperor of the country, Hotohori led the whole army. When Hotohori came to face Nakago, he told Hotohori that he had a bigger ambition. The war with Konan was just to draw away the attention of the emperor of Kutou. What Nakago really wanted was to conquer Miaka's world.

Upon hearing this, Hotohori became exaperated. Thinking of all that Miaka & Tamahome had been throught. Finally, they managed to be together in peace but Nakago was about to disturb their lives.
Hotohori : I will never allow you to interfere with their lives any further!
He charged forward at full speed with his sword pointing at Nakago.

Nakago, not worried at all, held up his hand.
Nakago: Fool.
He gathered his "ki" and fired a massive blast at Hotohori.

"Mi... Miaka... ," he whispered, as he fell.

An injured but not deterred Hotohori, kept going forward, crying out for Suzaku to give him the power. Much to Nakago's surprise, Hotohori struck him. In return, Nakago struck Hotohori with his "ki" blast which caused Hotohori to fell back.

Back in Miaka's world.
Tetsuya told Miaka that Hotohori was dying & gave her the book saying that maybe, her voice could reached them.
Back to the battlefield.
Hotohori was surrounded by his soldiers, as well as the two remaining senshi, Chichiri & Tasuki.

Hotohori looked up in the sky for Miaka's voice.

Miaka: Hotohori.
Hotohori: Miaka! Miaka's voice is coming from the sky.
Miaka: Hotohori, Tasuki, Chichiri, can you hear me? It's me!
Realizing that it was Miaka, they listened as she apologized for not being able to return back into the book.

Hotohori: Miaka, Kutou's army had retreated. Konan is safe. It's a pity that I didn't manage to kill him nor stop him. Tell Tamahome that he must kill him.
Chichiri: Hotohori, don't talk anymore.
Miaka: Hotohori, cannot... you cannot died. If you do, what will happen to Houki?

Hotohori wished to meet Miaka again, surpassing time & world.

Hotohori: Yes, she is waiting for me. My child... must wait till I see my child's face.
Miaka: Yes, she'll give birth to a boy as beautiful as Hotohori.
Hotohori: Miaka, someday... we'll meet again... surpassing time & world.

Hotohori took out the photo which they had taken before they set sailed for the first Shinzaho. He touched Miaka's face in the photo.
Hotohori: It's so fortunate to have met all of you. Miaka... I love you. Wish you all the best...

Everybody bowed before Saihitei Seishuku, showing their last respect to the 4th Emperor of Konan, also known as Hotohori.
