Pam Tillis is my favorite lady of country. I have been fascinated by her voice ever since "Maybe It Was Memphis" came out in 1991. That song and video turned me on to Pam. Later, "Cleopatra, Queen of Denial" and "Let that Pony Run" increased my interest in this wonderful lady. The album that sold me completely on Pam is "Sweetheart's Dance." I love the title song. Other favorites from this album are "When You Walk in The Room" and "Mi Vida Loca." "All of this Love" and "Greatest Hits" completed the Pam Tillis collection to 1997. One of my favorite days is October 03, 1997. This is the day I got to see Pam and meet Pam for the first time and received a nice autograph. I joined the Pam Tillis Fan Network to meet my "idol." The last album was Every Time . "I Said a Prayer" is the 1st single. "Every Time" was released as a single as well. Pam has a great new album out, Thunder and Roses. Pam's official site is at www.pamtillis.com.
The letter I sent to Pam. *From my archives * [Archives refer to my file of country things on my Hard Disk and on floppies, not on line yet, but who knows? LOL ] {Just figured y'all might be curious, that's all. } |
