Welcome back after this summers break. Sting is on tour now in Amercia, next Japan and some other countries around the world. I can't say that much has happend in the last few months, no single releases except for the Different Gear one, more of this release later. the Russian markets all full of boots these days, here is a sample of the latest releases:

BRAND NEW DAY DVD RELEASED AS BOOTLEG

You won't believe this, already 2 months before its official release in the US the complete 18 tracks were released on a double video CD in Russia. Sound quality and picture are excellent, cover and design of the video CD is oke but nothing spectacular.

But there is more released on video CD and certainly not official

* The Police - Synchronicity concert 13 tracks (even with mentioning Polygram video) IDDK0004 Russia
* Sting - The Very best of Sting and the Police - 17 tracks , front cover has Field of gold picture (single release) - Asian release
* The Police - Greatest Hits 16 tracks, different front cover than the official greatest hits release back cover is the same as the official release, I got thisone in America but I doubt it if this one was made overthere, probably an Asian release.
* Sting - Multimedia CD Caaud-way 95 and lots more Russian signs, 22 video clips on one CDV, artwork is medium and CDV is not so good, mix from video clips and the Ten summoners tales video at Sting's home
* Various Artists - 17 tracks, one video clip by STing (desert Rose remix ) - Best video clips Vol 1 Russia

It looks like more and more video CD's will show up in the next years.

Lately I'm receiving mails asking to sell these titles. I point out that these are not for sale, neither am I selling cd's like this . This information is there to inform fans who have the same interest in these products. No other means than that.

WHEN THE WORLD IS RUNNING DOWN

As heard on the radio a million times, Different Gear made a remix of the fantastic song, which is even a fantastic remix.

The official release is:

There is no video clip on the UK release, rest is the same. The video clip has no police or sting content and is a story about a gold fish, yes a gold fish, I must say the world is running down when people start making such lousy clips as thisone.

But the original bootleg mix has 2 releases, what 3 releases, the one mentioned above, which I doubt is the original bootleg remix cause there was one made in the US and also in the UK.

- Miami mix (house mix) white label UK pressing
- house mix on Transport Records US pressing

Both mixes are different from each other.

UK PROMO CDR ACETATES

This summer I found 2, strange is the Strontium 90 cdr acetate cause thatone is from some time ago and probably this promo is from just this year. Both have a custom made disc with tittles text sleeve. Find the scans for these two at:
