Lazarus Carrol, a retired judge from Boise, moved
to Liberty Creek with his wife, Danielle, in September 1875. He was known for his hangings and
unorthodox punishments. He acquired his pre-named poodle, Princess, from a man he condemned to the gallows for killing his wife.
Lazarus is a determined worker, plagued with a broken outdoor fountain left behind by his home's former owner. He and John Henry are good friends. Lazarus is tall with whitish grey hair. He is known to be
eccentric, a little senile, and quite ornery. He has three children, many grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. His younger
daughter's oldest boy, Jack, a doctor, recently moved to Liberty Creek. He helped Madison take Jonathan to court after he attacked her, but it was
unsuccessful.
