so like i said. we slept _all day_. i woke up for about an hour to help look for shaggy, because we kinda lost him, but we couldn't find him, so jessen and i crashed all day. I got put in the boys room by the lovely girls :p hah. by the time we got to the venue the meet n greet had just ended, and it apparently was just a hellish situation. We sat around in the rain for a few hours looking for scalpers, and kellie and i bought ourselves some front row seats that weren't obscenley priced. and they were definitly worth it. I'd have to say that indy was my favorite show of the tour.
the stage could not be rushed. It was a really nice theater. all in red velvet. Kellie and i had the last 2 seats on the right of the middle section. In front of us was a HUGE gaping 10 foot drop. I suppose its where an orchestra would be, but it was really scary looking. I watched a few of the UT songs, but spend most of their set on the phone with david, chatting away.
so the show starts. yay i love my seats. She finds us right away. lots of eye contact. even more than in Akron. it was really nice.

girl is just going to forever rock me. i absolutley love it. I wasn't very surprised to hear marianne, someone had told me she was going to play it. But etienne fucking blew me away. kellie turned to me and went 'holy shit'. We were seated RIGHT next to the mics, so you might hear us on the live album someday. yay! but etienne was gorgeous. the best version i'd heard this tour. She even did the bridge part with "i close my eyes, see you again.." that was the best part. it blew me away. and then dutchman! ahh! kellie also turned to me and said "jason's gonna shit his pants." haha. i heard he pretty much did. it was awesome. i turned to dor during n. lad cos i know how MUCH she loves that song. she was like 2 rows behind me. i caught her amidst an eye roll. hahah. Cruel. best version i'd heard of it. my GOD her "deeper...OHHH" parts have gotten SO FUCKING GOOD. and she was so into the dramatic hand tied movements. Space dog rocked tonight because she did the whole 'those bombs our friends' part in the middle. She usually leaves it out. During the waitress she hang ten-ed dor once which was really cool :] Someone was holding up a sign to tori in the second row and she motioned to them that they made her happy. it was cute :]. Oh yes, she had the greenish gold apron before i forget.
for swirl i had my light up watch on that swirls around. carolyn told me it had to be my swirl watch, and she was totally watching it and grinning and she sang "watch it swirl watch it swirl" right at me with the biggest grin on her face :].
when sunny gets blue was SO RANDOM. but it was gorgeous. i ReALLY loved it. and it went like, so well into raincoat. it almost sounded like shes leaving home again. it was just. so amazing. After it was over i asked the ever sweet marcel for a setlist and he brought me his :]
i kind of wandered around the post show for awhile. i was freezing my fucking ass off. we had story time with mikewhy and he showed us tori's goodbye message, and i talked to mel a little bit, and watched jessen ride a trash can in the lobby. Dor came out and she didnt talk too much, but showed me the puzzle landmarks tori had written down for her, and then she went off to be alone which was fine. carolyn told me to run into the post show because everyone was in the wrong places for the preshow. so i went into the crowd next to shaggy just to stay warm. he talked to her but i just stayed in the crowd and got all toasty. i was glad i did. it was neat to kind of watch it.
afterwards we all went to the IHOP across the street from our hotel and ran into mel and that whole group. Everyone was hyper, esp. matt page. him and i like ran into our booth and got totally hyper towards each other. and william got apple cinnamon pancakes. hahaha. anyhow. i had fun with siobhan (i always sepll that wrong, sorry!) and we took a few pictures n stuff. Then all the guys went on a liquor run, and we went back to the hotel to wait. i moved into kellies room which was dubbed the sleeping room, and went over to the 'guys' room. it was me n jessen n tony n jason n william n matt n gina n dor and later emi. it was super fun. dor had lots of drinkie drinkie with some yummy wine and i just had some more tequila but we watched mtv and signed memory books and grabbed matt page's ass and it was just really fun :] then i went to sleep. hah.
