Introduction
This webpage provides a glossary of some terms used in all the ftp.exe related articles.

  Term   Description
  DOS   Disk Operating System. The operating system that is used to start your computer.
  Unix   Another type of Operating System.
  Shareware   Software that are downloadable from the internet.
  This type of software usually allows people to try the software before asking them to buy it.
  HTML   HyperText Markup Language. This is the language used to write your web page.
  ASCII   American Standard Code for Information Interchange. A type of mode used in FTP.
