Other FTP Commands

Introduction
This webpage provides a summary of some other useful commands that are used in ftp.exe.

  Command   Description
  ls

  Lists the names of all files and directories

  Usage: ls
  user

  To retry logon when the server disconnects you

  Usage: user
  help

  Lists all commands in FTP

  Usage: help
  open

  Opens a connect to a server

  Usage: open (ftp address)
  send

  Performs the similar function to put

  Usage: send abc.html
  lcd

  Changes the local directory path

  Usage: lcd (your directory name)

  Special: lcd .. Used to go up one level of the directory structure.
