Once upon a time, there was a guy named Fred who had a big nose. Fred lived a pretty boring life. His two best friends were his computer and his pet goldfish. Fred worked all day at the local plumbing store, then came home, ate a microwave dinner, fed his fish, pet his computer, and went to bed. Some nights, if he was in an especially rowdy mood, he would stay up late and watch TV.

Fred went on like this for many days. Every day was exactly like the last one was and the next one would be. Fred didn't much care for surprises, so this suited him just fine.
