It is not only Michael Jackson who takes garbage from the media. There are other rock idols who also go through the same treatment. One excellent example is a rock-star I admire called Brian Warner, who is better known as Marilyn Manson. You are probably wondering why I like him. I like him because he's good. I admire his constant strength even though fundamentalist Christians and the media, have branded him as 'evil' and he's become the most hated man in America as a result.
