Welcome to Ocean Dreams

Dedicated to celebrating and preserving the amazing inhabitants of the Earth's oceans.

Rainbow Fluke

I met my first wild dolphin when I was 6 years old, visiting my grandparents' summer home on the Gulf Coast of Texas. The steely gray bottlenose, leaping joyfully in the bow wake of the ferryboat, was the most beautiful, exciting, vibrantly alive creature I had ever seen. I fell instantly, and completely, in love. That love has grown and matured over the years, and it now includes all of the creatures that dwell within our oceans. Since that magical day on the ferry, I have spent thousands of hours on and under the water, and have never lost my sense of joy and wonder at the fascinating tapestry of life beneath the waves. This page is my attempt to share that feeling with you. Enjoy!

I will frequently be adding more information and links on whales, dolphins and other salty topics, along with some photographs and tales from my own adventures on and under the sea, so please visit again soon.
