Ocean Adventures - Ocean Dreams

Over the years, I have had the incredible good fortune to have had some wonderful adventures with the Ocean.  She has been my workplace, my playground, my retreat, my teacher, my friend.  I have watched in wonder the aurora borealis swirling over the masts of a tall ship on the inland passage of Southeast Alaska.  I have felt the deep, stirring notes of humpback whale songs reverberating through me as I floated in the warm, azure waters of Hawaii.  I have seen the Southern Cross wheeling across the black midnight sky above the Coral Sea.  I have been immersed in a living rainbow in the Rock Islands of Palau.   I have spent countless hours with my toes in the sand, happily walking along the beaches of various oceans around the world.  Each of these experiences has left an indelible impression upon my heart and soul - and has left me hungry for more.

Perhaps those of us who hear the call of the Ocean truly have salt water running through our veins.  We feel the rush and pull of the tides deep within our beings and, no matter where we may roam in this big world, our paths somehow always lead us back to her shores.   Such has been the course of my life.  I have been drawn to the Ocean time and time again.  When I am away from her, I long for the sound of waves, call of seabirds, and the feel of salt spray on my face.

It is my desire to share with you some of my many adventures.  If you have heard the Ocean's song, then you may well see yourself in some of my stories.   If you have not, then listen carefully and perhaps you might hear her calling your name....
