I just found your site looking for tiger photos for my sons biology caloge. I love the big cats. I was able to help build a pen for a 1400 pound liger up in Wisconsin a few years ago. JES EXOTICS is not a zoo, they have confiscated circus animals and animals seized on drug raids and other donated wild animals. I visited the Dutchess County Fair recently in upstate New York. It sickened me to see a black leopard from Viet Nam and a leopard from South Africa in a cage. It just wasn't natural. I work at Dreamworld Theme Park on the Gold Coast Queensland Australia. We have a facility called Tiger Island with 5 Bengal Tigers, 2 Gold and 3 white.Two sets of brother and sister.One is a Gold male "Rakhan" and a White female "Jai". The other set are Gold male "Bakkar" and a Gold female "Samara" . One is completely white his name is "Mohan". They have been hand raised and left their mothers when they were 6 months to come from California to Australia.They are entering their 3rd year and we hope to st rt a breeding program with two of them this year.When I get my web site up and running I will have loads of pics and info about them...I spend every lunchbreak and available time just watching them,Climb trees, Play with the handlers, Swim in the pool, La e in their waterfall, Lie under their favorite trees,Play with the myriad of toys introduced to them, Stalk each other, and in general just behave as Tigers do. Thought you might be interested with this topic: In 1991 Mitsubishi started conducting explatory mining in Junin, which, to quote Action 130 on the Rainforest Action Network's Webpage,is an ecologically fragile region in the Andes that is home to jaguars(CAT breed, that'll probably get your attention), owler monkeys, and the endangered spectacle bear. Anyways(I am no longer quoting+that I'm just TOO lazy to put things in quotes), Junin is a buffer zone that protects the Cotachachi-Cayapas Ecological Reserve, which is half a million(500,000)acres of Ecuador's last remaining coastal rainforest. Do a search for "Rainforest Action Network", and you can go on their webpage. Go on to Action Alert. It might bring you to just one action, so when you log on, hit the action alert on the top of THAT page. You'll have a list of actions, so pick Action lert 130. Or you'll click on that and just have a list of choices of actions, so pick Action 130. Either way, once you're on Action Alert 130 you can get the details, type in your e-mail address on top of the already written letter(or you can change the letter and put it into your own words), and RAN will take the letter, and fax it to them. That goes for anyone reading your guestbook, too! Lend a hand and help out some species. Also, RAN's page is FANTASTIC! Check it out, visit it often, make a differe ce, it's awesome!

I am a friend and supporter of the Oregon Tiger Sanctuary a non-profit organization for the preservation of endangered species. They have many large cats and primates and are totally supported by a volunteer staff and donations. It is so wonderful to se that there are other such organizations out there and people who care.
