in other words... this is a page for the dark and/or glittery of heart, who are tired of learning how to make adorably bubble-lettered coat hanger deely-bobs. we want some creepy crafts! some spooky schemes! {and some perky projects, too!} there are plenty of ways to make that pink ruffle into black lace, and replace a baby blue sponged finish with black and pewter crackle. please note: i am often using the spelling "gawth" as opposed to "goth". this is partly because i think im just the bee's knees, and i can get away with it. but it's also partly because im trying not to lay down the gospel on what is and is not gothic. a huge part of my take on goth is that a good goth doesn't take themselves too seriously. if you do, you may as well paint your room all black and forget about spending anytime doing anything *FUN* like crafting. enjoy yourself! i command you! and if you STILL dont understand why i am adding this disclaimer, please read this lovely nasty letter i recieved in regards to my gothnicity.

so enjoy what is here, and feel free to email me any questions, comments, and of course your fabulous compliments... or you can fill out my faeriform, which is like a guestbook, but isnt one.and should you decide you'd like to submit a craft, a paling recipe, or a decor project, you can proclaim Submission the the krafte-mistress!

a little guide to my site: anything in brackets, like [these], is a note from me. a lot of the projects have been edited, rewritten, or added to. all instructions have been run by my faithful editors; my family and friends, for ease of understanding. if any of the instructions dont make sense to you, go ahead and email me, and i'll clarify. lots of stuff here is attributed to ? or unknown, so if anything on this site was contributed by you, and credit was not given, please, once again, email me, so i can stick a name to it. im sorry about things being uncredited or wrongly credited, but i with a polite letter to me, it will all be repaired. my name isn't hyperlinked because, well, it wastes lots of space! the icon to email me is the little spooky mailbox at the bottom of the pages. most of these ideas that require *making* have been tested by me or a devoted disciple, with me watching over. the paling recipes are being tested by myriad goths as we speak, and i will put up their results when i recieve them all. some of these instructions are long and complex, so its easy to get overwhelmed and get lost. PLEASE read all the instructions before you begin. if you do one of these projects, and have good or bad comments about your results, let me know! so, delve into the wonderous world of GawthKrafte... and happy krafting!
