When i saw your page, the first thing i thought was "O dear god, I do hope she's joking!". But unfortunately, i haven't found a single thing to indicate that you are. Although the appearance is beautiful, and it's put together quite nicely (I will give you credit for that), the content is horrifying. If your intent is to be funny, you're not doing a very good job. It was hard for me to believe that any human being could possibly be that deluded, but i suppose anything (or anyone) is possible. As i read your "You Know You're a Goth if..." I became increasingly ill by the sight of it. If that's the definition of a goth by today's standards, I can safely say I am not, nor have I ever been "gothic". Because, you see, I don't wear shredded pantyhose or electrical tape and my bedroom doesn't look like a funeral parlour or a torture chamber. I don't wear white cake makeup or smear black eyeliner all over my face. "Labyrinth" and "Legend" are the worst movies I've ever seen and I don't know what "gundy" or Beanie Babies" are. I wouldn't be caught dead with anything even vaguely resembling a coffin and I'm sorry, but I think carrying around an ammo box as a purse symbolizes something that I hold passionate beliefs against. If this is what goth is now, I guess it's time for me to burn my current wardrobe and start dressing punk because I don't want to be associated with anyone who could be as you described and take themselves seriously. You say you're mourning the death of individuality but you turn right around and label yourself and then set rigid standards on how certain people are to behave. You are a walking contradiction. I don't think you have any idea what you are saying. You are a self-obsessed, condescending, pretentious, hypocritical moron with a severe superiority complex. I suggest you do some studying and learn what goth really is before you add any more to your homepage. Please feel free to write me back, I'd love to hear your response.

Sincerely Yours,

Japhne. 1
