The Association of the Fournier in America
Our aims
To establish contact with the greatest possible number of descendants of all the Fournier To promote a sense of unity and the interest of its members; and pride in belonging to a large family.
To facilitate the knowledge of genealogy for all the members interested in
the History of Fournier Ancestors and to helpmembers trace their own family line.To create a Fournier Family Archive and to encourage anyone, member or not, to deposit documents, photos, news clippings adding to the history of this family.
To favour and organize
Annual Meetings and renewed encounters, conferences or exhibitions for the promotion, the development and the popularization of history, genealogy or other matters concerning the history of this family.To create and publish, in the near future, a
Genealogical Dictionary of the descendants of the various Fournier ancestors, registry of marriages, births or deaths, biographical texts, etc.The official publication of the Association of the Fournier in America is
" Le Fournier", published three times a year for all members.
