I might have a few problems trying to remember who plays the pipes in what band, and so forth, but I'm sure that, with your support, Project BIC (Bagpipers' Internet Companion) will be a rousing success! By he way, as was the case with my previous book on bagpipe music, I've had to make a series of guesses as far as contacting each pipe band's e-mail address is concerned. More often than not, alas, some of those guesses have led the wrong way, or else may ta e more than a single day to respond. Since this is a 2-part book, I was counting on listing websites for over 200 pipe bands from around the world; some sites, however, are offline for various reasons. This may hamper the speed with which I'd hoped to pre are the text --- but hopefully, I can make a couple of adjustments. Anyway, I just thought i'd take a moment to type in your guestbook and let you know a little bit more about Project BIC. Thanks again for responding to the Questionnaire. Happy piping!

Comments:Hello Piper's, It's been a long time I heard the swirl of the pipes. I played along with your outfit on several occasions. The biggest was the RCR '83 & '88 reunion. I still got the ringing in my ears being next to all your great playing from those times. I was in the orps of Drums of 1RCR for 10 years. i was also 2RCR "J" coy back in the late 70's. Comments:Piers, Your web page looks great. Part of my job involves alot of digital imagery. What DPI are you using for your images? For a screen shot on a computer the most you need is 96 dpi. If you compress your image to 96-100dpi (if they are not already) you may ind the sight may load a little faster. Other than that its pretty cool. Marc
