But even if you can't understand the above, if you are a GORE FAN, you'll get a big kick out of this movie...

PREMUTOS: THE FALLEN ANGEL



Now this flick is only in German with absolutely no subtitles, and the only German I know comes from late night War movies and reruns of THE RAT PATROL so needless to say I didn't understand a word.
But still, I got a real kick out of this. Reminiscent of Peter Jackson's DEAD ALIVE or any one of Andreas Schnass's flicks, this flick is definately one of the goriest blood feasts I've seen yet. The body count, they actually count it off at the end, tolls up to 117 dead. There are beheadings, dismemberments, disembowlings, burnings, plenty of exploding, you name it, if it's gory and violent you will see it here.
Dispite the language barrier, the story is not too hard to comprehend. This Demon, or Fallen Angel, appears throughout history and wreaks havoc on mankind with the help of re-animated dead. This is made apparent in flashbacks this dude has. This dude is himself the modern incarnation of the Demon, only this does not become apparent until he reads from this ancient looking book called PREMUTOS. After this the dude transforms and calls up a horde of zombies while a dinner party is going on at his house.
Fortunately for mankind , his father is a weapon collector and has a ton of loaded firarms and swords and stuff around the house. Hell he even has a TANK out back, shhh don't tell the government. The guests put up a hell of a fight and the gorefest that ensues is unbelievable!!!!



Since the original writing of this review, a version of the movie has been released on VHS that is dubbed in English and also on DVD, with a Making Of documentary included.
