Now the reason I am including them both as a double feature is that they both are basically the same movie, plot-wise anyway. They revolve around a really un-principaled self-serving asshole who takes over a Oriental Restaurrant by killing the owners and serving them up to the public.
The differences in the two is that in EBOLA SYNDROME the killer catches the EBOLA disease after raping a dieing African woman (I mentioned he was a real asshole didn't I), and is that 1 in 100 000 that is doesn't die but becomes a carrier.
And of course he spreads it around at the restaurant.
The UNTOLD STORY's focus is more on the cops who arrest the killer and, having no corpses, set out to get a confession. They give the killer his rights, and plenty of lefts too.
The violence, as I mentioned, is some of the coolest most extreme I've ever seen. Eye's sucked out, chopsticks jammed up ... (wellya gotta see it), and plenty of dismemberment and bloody mayhem... It's brutal and shocking, gotta love it!!! And of course, being from Asia there is of course some crazy weird sex thrown in, and some very sick twisted type humor; makes ya wanna think twice about eating in a restaurant.
Both star Anthony Wong Chau-Sang who does a super-cool job playing the sickest basterd killer going and are directed by Herman Yau. THE UNTOLD STORY came out first, and I recommend you watch it first if you screen these two back to back.
