To Have And To Hold

A Love Poem From Husband To Wife

Now that our vows are taken,
They will never be forsaken.
A sacred bond of love,
Truly ordained from above.
We are one with each other,
I will never love another.
For you, only the best will suffice.
For you, all things I would gladly sacrifice.
For you are my wife,
For you are my life.
And I don't think it would be to bold,
To say that I am yours and you are mine
To have and to hold.

Till death do us part and beyond.
