Where Friends Never Walk Alone

Under the yellow umbrellas, in big fluffy chairs
memories dance across the tabletop.
Like streaks of sun
catching laughter and rainbows in the droplets upon their glasses,
falling like broken tears.
Around them,
this seasons breeze plays with summers warmth.
The scent of spring flowers tickles their souls.
As they both make a wish,
upon thoughts of love;
love forever,
two shadows share the pain of that remembered.
Here, their laughter makes music and hides the tears they share.
Gentle smiles hint at secrets buried deep within the trees.

Worlds apart,
they dream the neverending dream,
of futures untold and a past never forgotten.
Until, it seems, reality made it's final blow.
two souls trapped in the emptiness of lost memories,
shed a tear of lonliness and they remember....
Although time and fate separate them,
they will always return to a place,
a place where the sun dances and the trees whisper secrets.
They found within their hearts,
a place where friends walk together, not alone....
