The First Year
My first year with James began in June of 1996, so this is really the second
6 months of "us" *grin* Oh well.. here goes...:

In 24 hours I will be riding to Rockford, Illinois to pick up James!!! Both of us are very excited, but
there is also a bit of frightfulness in both of us. James and I really want to make this work out
between us. Talking on the phone and chatting are totally different than meeting in real life. I'm sure
things will work out though!!! *smiles*
James told me that he had bought me an engagement ring. (We're very open about these things.)
However, his parents forced him to take it back because of the fact that it was an engagement ring!
Oh well...he'll get one here if he still wants to propose to me!!! *grins*

Wow. . . James is most likely on his way home at this very moment; telling his parents about how
much he enjoyed himself while he was here. His visit was more wonderful than I ever would have
imagined it being!!! *grins* He made my 
quiver with the love I feel for him!!!
By the end of the first day that we spent together, James knew that he wanted to spend the rest of
his life with me. Although, the ride home was very nerve wracking for the both of us, we "clicked"
soon after we got home! *smiles* At first, I really could not believe that I was sitting next to the man
that I had loved for almost 7 months. It was like a dream come true to me. I'm just glad that we
worked out.
I am wearing a very beautiful engagement ring right now. It is a symbol of the love that James and I
hold between us. I couldn't be more proud to be his fiance, and I mean that with all of my heart. I
don't need a ring as long as the two of us know that we are going to marry one another. *smiles*

Well, James might be coming to visit me two weeks from today!!! *grin* I won't find out for another week or so though. I'm so anxious to find out whether or not his parents are going to let him! :o)

I found out last night that James is coming here on Thursday!!! That's only two days away!!! Yippee!!!
I gotta check to see if he can come to school with me on April first, but I'm sure that there won't be any problem. Hehehe.. I can't wait!!! *huge grin*
He's gotta sit on a bus for 10 hours, but it was either that, or we'd have to wait for another month. We'd go to my prom together, but he'd only be here for three days instead of 6. So, needless to say, he wants to come this week! *smile*
I might have him update his page while he's here, so you can see what he has to say about everything! (He doesn't have the Net anymore. It sucks..)

James was here from the evening of March 27 until the morning of April 2. He came to school with me like I said he probably would! *grin* I don't think he was very impressed.. considering that my school is only twice the size of his class!!! *laughs*
My prom is on April 25th, but because he's not going to be able to come here - I'm not going to go. I would be thinking about him all night anyways, so in other words, my night would be ruined without him there to share my senior prom with me. However, I'm trying to get my mom to let me go to HIS prom this year, which would make up for missing mine! :o) If I don't go to his prom this year, there's no way that I'm going to miss it next year! *giggle*

appears... Well, I'm back, and very happy as well! My parents gave me permission to go to James' prom on May 24th! Yeee haw! laughs.. I got my dress a few days ago. I decided to go to my prom last night, but it sucked so bad that I left early. I was thinking about James the whole time. I'm sure his prom will make up for everything though! :o)
I'm going to leave from a nearby airport at around 2pm on Friday, May 23rd, and I'll get out in Cleveland around 7pm. Not too bad. Just about a 4 hour trip.. only a 30 minute delay in Chicago.
It's going to be weird meeting his parents, but oh well. It has to be done sooner or later. I mean, I can't exactly meet them on our wedding day! hehehe...
James told me today that everyone wants to meet me. Oh gawd.. I think I'll die while I'm flying there. I'll be sooo nervous! hehe...

I'm working on my homepage at school right now, but I just had to tell you the latest news! :o) I'm going to be flying to Cleveland to see James on Friday. WOO HOO!!! hehehe... I'm sooooo excited!

Well, I'm in school again. I'm waiting for 11:00am to get here so I can go home and finish packing before I start off for the airport at 11:45am. Yes, that's right - I'm not finished packing yet!!! *laughs*
My stomach hurts so bad right now, it's not funny. I'm so terribly nervous. Partly because of the plane ride, and partly because I have to meet all of his family and friends all in one weekend! But, I'm sure it will be worth it.
I feel like I have to impress his parents. So, that's why I'm going to dress up for the first day that I'm out there. *grin* I'm wearing this nice pants outfit. If that doesn't impress them, then I suppose I'll give up! *laughs* nah.. I'm kiddin'...
I suppose I should be going now. I promise to update the site just as soon as I can when I get back home and get rested up. I graduate on June 1st, so I have no idea as to when I'll get back on the net.

Let's see here.. a LOT has happened since I last wrote. I'll give you a quick rundown on everything.
I survived my first air trip. *grin* I met a lot of his friends, but I didn't bring my camera to the prom, otherwise I'd post some pics of them. Our prom pic can be seen here .
His parents were pretty nice.. I didn't talk to them much because I was too tired the first night and the day of prom, and then I wasn't feeling well the day that I left. Figures.. I always get sick when I'm somewhere I've never been before! *laughs*
I graduated on June 1st. hehe.. Now I'm working part-time and working on another website during the days. I mostly chat at night.
Last night, a guy from my friends page (which no longer exists.. lol) came over and we hung out for a bit. I think he's listed as Fallen Angel on that page. Not sure.. it's been quite some time since I looked at it! hehe..
Just to let you know.. James and I are doing pretty well, but we hardly ever get to talk because of his parents, and he never emails me that much anymore. That also is because of his parents, but partly because of his job. *sighs* They're parents though.. not much you can do about it.
James is going to come out here for about ten days in August!!! YESSSS!!! hehe.. We're gonna go to my county fair for the most part. I can't wait! :o)
I'll let you in on everything the next chance I get.. Things have been really hectic with everything lately, and that's why I haven't written for awhile. I'm sure ya'll can understand it though, right? *grin*
