A Proud Mother My husband and I were married nine years before we had our first child. That was not by design, but after many a visit to the fertility doctors, in 1980 our first child, a daughter, was born. None were happier than we. Here she is today going to a banquet. All grown up and anxious to leave home! And the most recent senior photo candid shots! She is now graduated and living on campus attending Houston Baptist University.Since we had such difficulty conceiving the first child, we didn't waste time working on the next. She was born almost three years later. Our second daughter, now in tenth grade, is 16. (and was our athlete, excelling in track.) Now, we're not sure which direction she's headed, but are very proud of her working in a vet's office. (I'm thinking medical school?) Here are both girls just one short year ago! (Christmas 1998) Oh! You say you want to see mom and dad? Well, here we are a few years ago. And of course, what family would be complete without a pet, right? So, much to dad's consternation, we acquired a dog. Here is Paisley (he's the fuzzy one).
