December 29, 1997 - Wow, what a night it was last night. The internet crew was all there for the 1997 Winter Spectacular!! Me, Mike Heim, Primax, Dj Dez, Lee, Hiram of Natural, Milly, Kat, Mark, DJ Muevelo, Steve O'Neil and his group, Aly M, and everyone else I am forgetting were all in attendence!! The show was great, even if we all felt really old there! The show began with Miguel Reyes warming up the crowd with Jonelle following him. Stephanie Bennet put on a great performance as usual, with about 10 kids from the audience filling in as her dancers. Joe Zangie that tore it up like always and even performed his new duet with Samantha, who took to the stage after Joe. Pain, along with Soniya then took the stage and then Joey Rateano. Then rumored to have done their last performance as a group, Pure Pleazure gave their "Final Goodbye". Lori Bella and Case Closed wrapped up the show and Robbie from Case Closed absolutely tore it up! He definitely closed the show out with everyone not being able to wait till the Summer Spectacular. To everyone I got a chance to hang out with, thanks, it was a great time!!

On Sunday, December 28th at the newly re-opened Club Fiji in Blackwood, NJ. Doors open at 7:00pm and ticket prices are still up in the air. Those performing are, Samantha, Joe Zangie, Jonelle, Pain, Lori Bella, Soniya, Stefanie Bennet, Miguel Reyes, and Pure Pleazure giving their "Final Goodbye"! November 10, 1997 - On November 26, 1997, Willie Valentin will be performing at the Warehouse Club in Philly, PA. Another act will be named soon!

November 6, 1997 - Sorry about the last update, it will be this Saturday, November 8, that Lil Suzy will be performing live at the Music Factory in South Jersey. It is located across from Washington Twp. High School in Sewell, NJ. It will be broadcasted live on Hot 91 Jamz, Camden County College's radio station. Anyone in the area who wants to tape it and send me a copy down at school, please feel free since I am stuck at school and can't make it! Also, Tazmania 11 comes out November 18th and Tazmania 12 comes out the 25th of November!! Be sure to check them out!!

October 25, 1997 - This Saturday, Lil Suzy will be performing at the Music Factory in South Jersey. God I wish I could go!!! Also, coming November 4th, Tazmania 11!!

October 14, 1997 - The Freestyle Music Awards are coming!! They will be held on November 14 at Bernadino's Elite Club in CHICOPEE, MA. This event will feature performances from such acts as George Lamond, Willie Valentin, Adelis as well as appearances by Marisol, Miranda, Michelle, Vyshali, Alex Vasquez and many more! This is being hosted by CPR and Larry Vee and is put on in part by Larry Vee Productions and Marquise Entertainment!

September 8, 1997 - Coming Saturday, September 27th at 7:00pm, Hot 91 Jamz Listeners Apreciation Concert III at Camden County College. Those performing will be Tazmania artists, Samantha, Lori Bella, Pain, and Joe Zangie, Intrepid from Pryme Tyme and Artistik's Ceasar and Wendy. Tickets are $12.00 at the door. August 29, 1997 - On September 2nd, Rockell with her smash hit, "In a Dream", will be at The Music Factory in Sewell, NJ. She will be signing autogrphs for all who stop by and visit. See ya there!!

August 12, 1997 - Lil Suzy's new full-length comes out today!! Be on the look out for that!! Just released was news about the Q102's Monster 7 Concert at the Blockbuster Entertainment Center in Camden, NJ on September 13th. Those scheduled to perform include Lil Suzy, Rockell, Diana King, No Mercy, Wild Orchid, Real McCoy, Denine and Collage, 98 Degrees, Samantha Cole, Crystal Waters, Le Click, and possibly a certain Philly M.I.B.!!! August 10, 1997 - Okay everyone, haven't been around, been in Chicago for the last week, so here's the latest!! Be on the lookout for Lil Suzy's newest Full-Length due out Tuesday, August 12th! Also, just found out tonight from the man himself, lookout for the newest hit to take the freestyle community by storm! A duet by the two hottest Tazmania artists has been recorded and will be released on Taz 12. Be sure to keep you eye out for this one!!

July 30, 1997 - WOW!! What a night!! The Tazmania Summer Slam has come and gone! What a show it was at the Iguana Beach Club in Cherry Hill, NJ. Thanks to Mike Heim for hooking me up with my all access pass, allowing me to meet many of the artists and Anthony Ponzio and others from Tazmania. To begin the night off, the crowd was warmed up with Lil Suzy's Dancers, Mike & Ron, showing them what they could do. Then 14 year old sensation, Lori Bella, started it off for the artists. Ceasar came all the way from Connecticut to make his first South Jersey perfomance. Natural showed us all that they are definitely going to be around for awhile and trust me, expect great things to come from these guys! Andre and Case Closed followed with great performances and then Wendy hit the stage putting on a great show too! The show kept rolling along smoothly with Jonelle and Danielle performing and getting the crowd really into it now. Maritza, in her singing debut, brought her own unique style to the show and the crowd loved it! There was a short break as the final three artists of the night got ready to hit the stage. Samantha came out giving a great show as usual, adding a little twist with her dancer using "glow" sticks. Stefanie Bennet came sporting the Philadelphia 76ers dancers with her. Between the two of them, they put on an high intensity show. To end the show, Joe Zangie and his dancers, including Maritza, came out sporting blue camoflage outfits and the new trend, glow necklaces. Once again, Joe Zangie put the perfect ending on another great show from Tazmania Records! Wanna give mad shout outs to all those who came out to support the artists, Tazmania Records, and freestyle, especially all of you from the internet and those who drove and flew for hours to show your support for freestyle!!

July 28, 1997 - Lil Suzy's new full-length album, Paradise will be in stores August 12. Be sure to check it out!! It features a wide range of styles, but everyone sounds great!! Hope to see everyone this Wednesday at the Summer Slam '97!!!

July 19, 1997 - It's FINAL!! Summer Slam '97 will be at Iguana Beach Club in Cherry Hill, NJ on Wednesday, July 30th. Those now performing will be Joe Zangie, Stefanie Bennet, Danielle, Jonelle, Pain, Soniya, Andre, Case Closed, Natural, Samantha, Wendy, and making her singing debut, Maritza. July 12, 1997 - The show is NOT cancelled!! It just is not going to be at Club Fiji because they don't know how to pay bills!! New location and date will be announced this week. Also, to put this new rumor to rest, Jossette will not be performing at the show either. Check back for updates!!

July 11, 1997 - Okay guys, well the show is still on, despite any rumors!! July 22nd at Club Fiji in Blackwood, NJ. Doors open at 7 and the show starts promptly at 9 and be sure to get their early. Sorry to say though, Lil Suzy will not be there as some people have said, unless a miracle occurs! Doesn't hurt to wish though!! For more info, e-mail me!

July 2, 1997 - The Summer Spectacular has been changed! It will now be July 22 and the location will be announced soon! Those now performing will be Joe Zangie, Pure Pleazure, Case Closed, Soniya, Innocence, Samantha, Stefanie Bennett, Jonelle, Danielle, Maritza, and Andre'(Formerly Of Pain). Also be on the the lookout for more artists to be announced and a few "Special Guests"

July 1, 1997 - Jossettes' NEW single, "Where Are You Now" will be released July 15th. Be sure to check this one out, it's sure to be a hit just as "In A Dream" is right now!

June 27, 1997 - Jocelyn Enriquez, along with La Bouche, Robin S, Quad City DJ's, Amber, and Crush will be performing live at the Lagoon Night Club on Friday, July 11th!! Hope to see everyone there! You also have a chance to win a week at the Q102 Lagoon Beach House!

Also want to wish a Happy Belated Birthday to Joe Zangie, Happy B-day Joe!! Lisette Melendez will be performing at Adelphia's in Deptford, NJ (Across from the mall) this Sunday, Junne 22nd. In radio news, Lil Suzy's new hit, "Can't Get You of My Mind" is getting increase radio play on Q102 here in Philly. It has now made it to the Top 8 Countdown on Q102. On March 1st, Lil Suzy celebrated her 18th birthday by performing at Club 1415 in Philly. It was a great show that myself, RummyG and DJ Fierce were there to see. She started out with "Take Me In You Arms" followed by "Promise Me", "Now & Forever", and "When I Fall In Love". She finished the show with her new song, "Just Can't Get Over You". Once she was done performing, she was suprised by a b-day cake and everyone in the club joined in singing "Happy Birthday" to her. It was a great show and I can't wait till she comes around again.
