Pefrith
As the dragon gets closer, you see that a person is riding it. The dragon lands a few feet from you, rising clouds of dust. By the time the dust has settled, the person got off the dragon, and now she takes off her helmet to revel a very short girl with brown eyes and hair. Before you can say anything, she says, "Oh hi. I am Jesse, from Ista Hold, I moved to the Haven a few weeks ago. Drai's foster mother was my mother and we became best friends. But everyone else always teased me because I was so short. I'm only 5 feet tall, even though I am 16."
"Do you live in that cave?" you ask.
"Yea, it was one of the only natural caves left when Drai asked me if I wanted to come move here. But it's fairly large and I have a lot more space to myself now. There is a staircase that was craved over here. It was such a pain to climb up and down them every day. But now that Pefrith can fly(very well I might add)," the dragon snorts proudly, "I can just fly to where I want to go. That's probably the only thing she's good for," the dragon-Pefrith-looks angerly at her rider, "Just kiding.
"I Impressed Pefrith at Verinicia Weyr. If we were in Pern, we would be searing Thread, but here at Mista we just sorta exist. We also help visitors, like yourself, get around, sometimes. And of course, we take care of the zoo."
"The zoo? What zoo?"
"Oh, it's just my name for all the animals I take care of. Would you like to met them?"
you say yes, and she helps you up onto Pefrith, before hopping on herself. Pefrith springs into the air, leaving you slightly off balence, and before you have time to admire the view, she lands on the ledge. Jesse gets off, and turns into the cave calling out, "Rej, Ger, Het!"
Out of the cave bonds a brown dog, who starts to jump joyfully around Jesse and you. "Oh stop that Rej" Jesse's commands him. The brown dog stops and looks mournfully up at her. A more dignified gray cat strolls out to look at you, before returning to the recesses of the caves. A blue fire-lizard lands on Jesse's shoulder and starts chatting with high-pitched chips and peeps. None of the animals seem concerned about the green bludge now sunning itself on the ledge.
Rej, Ger and Het
"Sorry about that. Rej is just a tad hyper. My mother gave him to me before I left. The cat was the royal gray Ger who I found near the Inn. We couldn't find her owner, so I adopted her. The blue lizard is Het; I impressed him when some flit (another name for fire-lizard) eggs were brought to the hold. I also hope to impress another flit from 
Their fire-lizards are all the colours of the rainbow, unlike most. As you can probably guess I love animals. I also have some colts and fillies out back. Would you like to see them too?"
Jesse leads you through some mostly unoccupied caves until you reach another opening in the rock, that is on the opposite side of the cliff Do you step out into the sunlight?
