Jesse's Space
Blinking, you step into the sunlight outside. There you stop and stare in amazement, the cave opening is on top of a hill that rolls down into a valley that is bordered by cliffs and trees. Down in the valley are 4 young horses.
The first horse that approaches you seems to be restless. She is always moving and after Jesse introduces you, she runs of to jump over a log that was placed there for that purpose. "That Frizy, she is always moving," Jesse comments, before introducing the next horse.
When this colt sees Jesse he rears and neighs happily before galloping up to her. It looks like he will run into you both, but he slows down in time and walks the last few paces. Jesse giggles at your stunned face, and then says "Oh, Spark loves to scare people by doing that. He is very agile and loves to show off."
The next horse moves at a slower pace. She is very graceful, and seems to dramatize everything. After very delicately searching for any food you might be hiding, she glides off, back to the rest of the herd. "Gracie is very dignified and has a huge ego," Jesse says.
A brown horse standing at the edge of the valley, Finally trots over. As he gets closer you notice that he has a blue mane and a horn in the middle of his forehead. This horse is actually a unicorn. He seems very shy, staying just long enough to eat a sugar cube for Jesse before walking a little away from the other animals and grazing. "That was a unicorn named Caova," Jesse says, "He was won at a contest at Tyralchia and is the newest addition to the herd. We have 3 great pictures of him when he was younger. He's now an adult, and has a mate, Amethyst. So far they've had one son, Camist who is living with his mother" She hands you 3 photos:
