Blades Win 2009 Utica Stevenson Titan New Year Invitational

The Kalamazoo Blades overtook the Avondale Yellow Jackets by a score of 3-2 to take the tournament title Saturday afternoon. Senior Aleks Jogerst scored the game winner with a stretched out tip-in with assists to Tyler Hatfield and Patrick Werme at the 5:16 mark in double overtime. Kalamazoo Blades Hall of Fame Nominations

With the Kalamazoo Blades program turning 20 years old in 2009, we would like to recognize exceptional athletes and administrators that have been integral in the Kalamazoo Blades success over the last 20 years. Please take time to nominate a player, coach or administrator that you believe has made a significant impact on the program. A person will be inducted every 2 years starting in 2009. Players should be graduated for at least 5 years before their first nomination. Please submit the name of the nominee, your name and the nominee's contribution to Curt Penny, Terry Merkle or Tom Garrett.
