Bristol Branch Ensemble Section Bristol Branch Ensemble SectionThe Blockflute Band, provides an opportunity for members to perform in concerts and to give wider public exposure of the recorder and raise funds for charity.
Our last concert was on Thursday 12 March 2009 in St. Bonaventure's Church, Bishopston with items by the Blockflute Band, the Bristowe Consort and Jacob Warn. It was very well attended with over 90 people in the audience and together with donations raised over £600 for NACOA (the National Association of Children of Alcoholism).
Concerts are planned for both March and October 2010, but no dates, venues or charities have yet been decided. For furthr information please contact Dick Little.
