Dave & Jills collection (or group of singers) More indepth machine descriptions are to follow when I get some more free time. If you would like to know a bit more about them please feel free to send us an email and we'll get back to you.
Most of these machines were found at boot sales or the local papers. Click on images to see larger pictures and some information, may or may not take a while to download depending on your computer, but if you are interested in Singers it will be worth it. For those outside of the UK A Boot Sale is ....... a gathering of the public, normally on a Sunday morning, but can happen on other days as well. People gather up unwanted items from their home put them in their car boot / trunk, drive to a venue, normally a field, sometimes a school playground, and try to sell them. ( One man's rubbish is another man's treasure ). Maybe similar to a Flea Market. |
