"IPMS (International Plastic Modellers' Society) is an organization
dedicated to the fun of scale modelling.
As long as you have an interest in Scale Modelling,
regardless as to whether you are a beginner or an expert,
we welcome you into our society."

(1) Membership card

By joining IPMS, you will be part of a society which is dedicated to scale modelling which aims to promote scale modelling as a fun and satisfying hobby. And what better way to have a sense of belonging than having a membership card which will identify you at the various hobby shops.

(2) Monthly Meetings

IPMS(Singapore) conducts monthly meeting to give members the opportunity to make new friends and exchange ideas with fellow modellers. Each meeting, members of the society will be invited to give talks which will discuss the techniques and experience on model making. you might never know what you can learn from fellow modellers. Of course you are also encourage to give suggestion and ask questions during the meeting to make it more lively. The monthly meetings are currently being held on the first Sunday of each month. Our current meeting place is at Teck Ghee Community Center which is near the Ang Mo Kio MRT.

(3) Members Has Cool Privileges

Please note that the benefits are only granted if you can produce your membership card, so don't visit the participating shops without it!

(4) Show Case

Your Finished Models IPMS(Singapore) gives you the opportunity to show case your finished models during the Show & Tell session of our monthly meeting. You can also show case your work at our Gallery on our web site.

(5) Special Events

IPMS(Singapore) will organise annual activities such as rafflers and competitions for its members. Activities such as swap meets will also be organised for members to trade or sell kits which they have no intention of building.

(6) You Shape the Society

The activities of IPMS(Singapore) are organised and planned by an executive committee. The executive committee is made up of members who are voted into a 2 years term to provide direction for the society. Any members above the age of 18 can campaign for the office as long as you have the backing of at least 2 other members.Feedback will also be gathered from members after each monthly meeting to help the Executive Committee to tailor the meetings to the needs of its members.
