WinCDG is a MP3 Audio and CDG file player. MP3 files are highly compressed CD-quality digital audio. CDG files contain instructions to display graphics in sync with the audio on a CD+G audio disc (such as the popular Karaoke CD's). WinCDG combines the two technologies.

No longer do you need to lug around all your valuable or irreplaceable CD+G discs! Convert your CD+G discs to digital format and store them on your computer. A typical CD+G track with cd-quality audio takes only 6 to 8 MB of space. Todays hard drives can store thousands of tracks. Back them up to Recordable CD.

NOTE: WinCDG is a FILE player... it does NOT read the CD+G disc directly. See below! (WinCDG doc and FAQ)

REQUIREMENTS:

WinCDG was written using VisualBASIC Professional, and requires the VB runtimes to be properly installed in your system. WinCDG will not run without the runtime files.

To make use of the program you will require ALL of the following:
Optional, if you want to create your own files: This is the setup I use:

NEWS FLASH!

WinCDG, in conjunction with Golden Hawk's CDRWin program, now has the ability to create CDG files!!! WinCDG can now extract the CD+G data directly from BIN files. A lot of you already have CDRWin in order to back up your current CDG disks so there is no need to buy the CDDA DOS program just to make CDG files! To see an overview of this process click HERE.
