The Swains of Calvert (Caplin Bay), Newfoundland. (The Stone Island Generation)

The Swain family was one the first families to settle at Stone Island, Caplin Bay in the early 1800s. Robert Swain, from Ireland, raised a family there who became the ancestors of most of the large family groups at Calvert. This tree contains only Robert and his children. Other family trees detail the complexities of Robert's many descendants.
