The first edition of this site was published at the end of January 2002.
In the summer of 2002, I decided that the body of the car that I had originally purchased was beyond economic repair. This was after I had completely stripped it down and gone to the trouble and expense of moving it to our new house in South Western Ontario!
In November 2002 I reported here that the only prospect for continuing with a Javelin restoration would be to acquire another car.
In March 2003 I did acquire what I believe to be the only other Javelin in Eastern Canada, and the body of my original car was duly disposed of for scrap.
In April 2003 I reported on the new car and how its acquisition has modified my planned restoration strategy.
The site was revised in October 2003, after most of the mechanical aspects of the restoration had been completed and as emphasis was again being directed to the body.
Minor updates were made in in early March 2004 to report on work done over the winter.
This edition of the site was published in October 2004 at a time when I consider that the restoration is complete. All applicable pages have been updated and a new page providing pictures of the completed car has been added. No further updates to the site are envisioned!
