It was friday night, and Zac and I were getting ready for the premier that he had to go to. He wasn't actually in this movie, it was kind of just like a publicity thing.
"I hate dressing up!" I yelled to him from the bathroom. "What sane person wants to walk around in heels?"
I heard him laugh. "It's nice to actually hear a girl say that."
"I'll be the first to admit it." I sighed, slipping on the red strappy heels that I picked to go with my red, silky, extra long tank top that I would be wearing over my denim capris. "At least we don't have to dress right up in fancy gowns and stuff."
"Yeah, then you would really be complaining!"
"I'm sorry." I said, walking into the living room where he stood. "I know I'm being a pain in the ass. I'm just freaking about how everyone is going to react toward me."
"Try not to worry so much." He grabbed my head and kissed me quickly. "It will all blow over soon."
"I hope you're right."

It was all pretty simple. Just like you see on tv or in the magazines. You walk up and down the red carpet, people take pictures of you, ask you questions, and then you head inside. I really didn't care about all of that stuff. I was just worried that somebody would ask Zac about me. Luckily, only one reporter did.
"So Zac, is this your girlfriend?" He asked, shoving the microphone in his face.
"Yeah, this is Chloe."
"She's very beautiful." the reporter replied. "What do you think about the reports indicating the gold digging rumour?" He stuck the microphone in my face this time, but Zac grabbed it.
"They are rediculous." He said. "Chloe and I were good friends before we started dating. We trust eachother." He smiled, the reporter thank him, And with that, he grabbed my arm and we walked away.
Inside, we watched the premier of the new movie, simpily titled 'Love'. It was a whirlwind romance about two teenagers who fall in love and have to hide it from their parents, fearing that they will not approve.

"Now that wasn't so bad, was it?" Zac asked as we drove home in his car.
"The whole experience, or the movie?" I said with a laugh.
Zac laughed too. "Well, I think I already know how you feel about the movie. Probably the same as me. I just mean the reporters and stuff."
"Oh, well, that really wasn't bad at all. Of course they were going to be nice while I was right there though."
"That's not always the case. And anyway, like I have said a million times, it will all blow over."
"I don't really care anymore anyway. I thought about it...while trying to stay awake during that movie. I really shouldn't care so much about what everyone thinks. I never cared about anyone's opinion before, so why should I now? I know that I love you. That's all that matters."
"That's exactly how I feel." Zac replied.
"Good!"
"Now, do you want to come over to my place, or do you just want to be alone tonight?" He asked.
I looked at him, raising an eyebrow. "Are you kidding me? Why would I choose to be alone when the alternative is being with you?"
He smiled. "Silly me."
A few minutes later, we pulled into his driveway. When we got out of the car, he practically chased me into the house, and I have no idea why. He got playful like that sometimes. I loved it. Just as I got to the front door, he caught up to me, and picked me up. He carried me through the door, through the living room, and dropped me onto the couch. Then he tackled me, sitting on top of me, ticking my ribs.
"Okay! Okay!" I yelled. "Stop! Uncle! Whatever the secret code word is!"
Zac started to laugh, then leaned down, nuzzeling his head into my neck. "I'm tired." He sighed.
I ran my fingers through his hair gently. "Me too. It's been a long day."
"I don't feel like sleeping though." He said, finally sitting up.
"Me either." I replied.
"Do you want to walk down to the beach?" He asked.
"At midnight?"
"Why not?"
"Um...sure! That actually sounds fun."
