Rules

Here are some rules for the Willowy Goodness Awards.

1. All nominated fics MUST have Willow as one of (or the only) central character!

2. We strongly encourage you to only nominate fics written within the last year, or updated within the last year (2002).  

3. Unfinished fanfic is eligible.

4. If a fic has won in any category in a previous WGA, it is *not eligible for any award* (regardless of whether it was updated since the last awards.)

5. Authors may nominate themselves, but may not vote for themselves.

6. Only one nomination per category per person. Use of multiple email addresses by an individual will result in all nominations from that individual being discounted.

7. Only one vote per category per person. Use of multiple email addresses by an individual will result in all nominations from that individual being discounted.

8. We reserve the right to correct any nominations we feel have been nominated in the wrong category.

9. If you want to nominate a series, you can do so in the "Best Series" category. Single fics nominated for a series will be moved to the relevant 'ship category. You may not nominate a series as a "Best Pairing Fic". However, you can nominate one story from a series for "Best Pairing Fic".

10. For fanfic categories, ideally the title, the author, author's email and the URL to the piece of fic must be in the nomination. You must have at least two of these to nominate a particular fic. If you have more, you are a wonderful person. Also, please indicate if the fic you are nominating is rated NC-17! If you do not include *your* email address, your nominations will be discounted.

11. We (Saladin and Kaz) are not eligible for either nominations or awards. (Though if you feel the need to nominate either of us, just send us some feedback!)

12. All our decisions are final.

13. No flaming authors who write pairings with which you do not agree with! If you do, and we find this out, not only will your nominations be discounted, but so will your votes!

14. By relationship we mean romantic lovey-dovey relationship (or steamy sex-filled relationship ... or both). We do not mean friendship. Yes there are tons of wonderful friendship fics out there. If you want to nominate a friendship fic, do so under "Best Friendship Fic", not under the pairing.

15. Best Evil Willow Characterization means the following: A) any fic where Willow is NOT (I repeat NOT) a vampire and B) is Evil/the Big Bad. This is also stated on the Categories page. Think Veiny, Black-Haired Willow.
