Robin slowly opened her eyes and A.J. was in her room. She coughed, "Where am I?""The hospital. You fainted at the penthouse," A.J. responded.
"Oh no, then it wasn't a dream. Carly's pregnant and it's Jason's baby." Robin was hoping and praying it never really happened.
"Yeah, well, you weren't the only one left out," A.J. said and exited the room.
Robin frowned and slowly fell back asleep.
Bobbie was outside of the room. "A.J.," She tried to stop him, but he walked past her. Bobbie knew this wasn't a beautiful thing to any of them. Carly was going to have another child, and no one wanted it.
**********Carly paced the floors, having all kind of thoughts run through her mind. A.J. must have been so upset! Robin was definitely going to be very irritated by the fact. Poor Bobbie must have felt terrible for letting out Carly's secret. But Carly didn't want it to be some dark secret that she never talked about. She wanted to be happy about her baby, and she got the feeling that if Jason was there it would be easier to get excited. He wasn't and she was alone. She was determined to give this baby a good life and she would never make it feel like it wasn't wanted. Carly picked up Michael and went to his room. Michael was asleep and Carly hadn't woke him up. She held him by his bedroom window and tried to think positive thoughts. She whispered to Michael, "Do you think it'll be a girl or a boy?"
**********Months passed...
Everyone had different emotions and lives going on.
Carly never let Michael out of her sight. She was always with her precious baby boy. She and Bobbie continued to grow closer over the months. Bobbie went with Carly to all her doctor's appointments, cheered her up, helped her with Michael, and was just completely supportive. Carly had got into a regular routine with Bobbie, Lucas, and Michael. They saw each other almost everday. Lucas had even spent the night at the penthouse a couple of times. A.J. had sort of kept his distance. She was getting worried about him. This was a horrible thing for him to hear about after his father's overdose. It wasn't her being pregnant that bothered him, but rather that she didn't tell him she was. It looked as though she still didn't trust him, which was entirely not true. She just didn't know how to tell him, and she felt a little guilty about telling him she slept with Jason not too long ago. Why? She had no idea.
Bobbie had been to see Carly everyday. She wanted Carly to feel supported and loved. Carly seemed a little saddened by A.J.'s disappearance, but Bobbie knew it wouldn't be that good, especially with Jason gone. Bobbie took Carly to most of her appointments and was so excited about Carly giving birth really soon. She was very glad Lucas was so glad Carly and Michael wanted to see him. Bobbie felt like Carly's real mother now. Carly was going to need that.
A.J. was doing ok, considering all the crap that had been laid on him within the past months. He hadn't seen Carly in a long time. He had left Port Charles. He had to get away for a while. He couldn't take the pressure. He felt alone in so many ways. It was weird being friends with Carly, but he enjoyed it and he was used to it. Not to mention A.J. missed seeing Michael. Maybe he'd return to Port Charles one day, but not any time soon.
Robin had been waiting by the phone and hoping Jason would call. All she did these days was work for L&B. She was so scared of Jason's call. She had the weirdest feeling she knew what his decision was. She didn't want it to be true. She didn't want Jason to want Carly. It wasn't right. Robin and Carly never got along, but Robin never thought Jason would sleep with Carly again. He had no reason to. Except what he said was love. He wouldn't even know about love if it wasn't for her. She had never pictured Jason coming to her and telling her he loved Carly. She had the worst feeling it was over. No....she wasn't going to think that. It couldn't be true.
Jason spent most of his time thinking and taking care of odds and ends for Sonny. He tried to think of every possible angle and future ending. He hadn't called Carly since the day A.J. answered the phone. He couldn't believe Carly left A.J. alone in the house. He must have been alone in order to answer the phone. Carly wouldn't talk to him voluntarily. He missed everything about Robin and Carly. He wasn't sure what he was going to do. He stayed there for so long and came up with nothing new. He was still confused and frustrated now, even more so. He did know he would have to decide soon. Carly was going to give birth.
