*tear* What a sad, enlightening, tragically beautiful story! Your experiances are just a few more examples among an infinite amount of how some people are just downright mean and nasty (evil, perhaps?) And how MEN often downtrod on WOMEN for their own selfish and personal gain. (speaking from experiance!) I believe in respect for ALL, and that respect should be based on character and hard work, NOT on the color of your skin, sex, or race! This is, after all, the year 2001. Look to the skies!

I can completely relate to your story, what a nightmare. Don't worry about how legible it reads, I thought it was very articulate and expressive. I sent you an e-mail telling a little about my own story. Keep your chin up, and thank you for sharing your story at this site.

I believe your strength is an inspiration to anyone searching for truth and happiness in their life. I am truly upset by all that has been forced upon you against your will, and hope that in the future you will continue to fly free as a peaceful, perceptive and emotionally-expressive spirit... I wish everyone the best of luck in their own pursuit of freedom, truth and spiritul happiness :) (make love, not war) ;)

i put a search in for trumpet taps for who knows what reason, and i came across your page. i can't say i'm moved to tears but i was impressed with the title. i read the first poem out loud and wanted to fall asleep directly after. that was a compliment i just gave you. i meant to say it was nice how the words went together. anyway, if you have the time or the interest or the nothingtodoness, i invite you to write me a few words. you know my number. well, at least my email. bye bye now! p.s. if you're going to check my website, don't expect to find the me of today there, i made it when i was 13, and i had an impulse to write cheesily. anyway, that's it. stop the program!

Thanks for helping to educate the public about what goes on in these places. I have been encarcerated twice. The first time, I was repeatedly injected with halaperidol, which caused me to experience fits. I was forcible held down and injected even though I had consented to the tablet form. This was to "teach me a lesson". There were countless other injustices. But perhaps the worst aspect was the way in which my opinion was completly disregarded or mocked. Why should we be locked up when we have committed no crime?
