Performances
El Grupo is frequently invited to perform for schools and organizations in Austin and surrounding school districts, especially for Cinco de Mayo and Diez y Seis de Septiembre.
Las Posadas is an annual Christmas program held the first weekend in December.
A Spring Show is held in late April or very early May of each year.
Other performances may include a trip to the Texas State Fair on UT-OU weekend in October, and at various locations in and around Austin, for various public and private events and celebrations.

Lord knows how difficult my first two semesters at UT were, yet being in "El Grupo" was such a stress reliever, and I loved dancing in every performance.
The Ballet Folklorico de la Universidad de Tejas is an example of the enrichment of the entire educational experience.
Honestly, I would not be dancing professionally if I’d never been in UTBF.
I love being a part of this group. It's great to know that there is such a great, close-knit fun loving group at UT!
